Review Activities
As the Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) for Texas, TMF Health Quality Institute is authorized by the Medicare program to review medical care and services provided to Medicare beneficiaries in the state. By law, TMF reviews these cases to determine if the services provided met medically acceptable standards of care, were medically necessary and were delivered in the most appropriate setting.
