The Campaign for Kidney Health seeks to improve early detection of Chronic Kidney Disease among at-risk Medicare beneficiaries as well as improve care management to prevent and delay the disease.

Certain preventive services are covered for patients with Medicare such as flu/pneumonia vaccines, mammograms, diabetes care and a Welcome to Medicare exam.

           Medicare Part B covers a flu vaccine every flu season and a pneumonia vaccine once after the age of 65.

           Medicare Part B covers an annual mammogram for women over 40 and one baseline for women 35-39. Refer your patients to a facility that accepts Medicare.
